Random musings about mountain bikes…

Danbury Snow Day’s

Woke up this morning to a lovely snowy vista so obvioulsy headed over to Danbury for a bit of off road fun.

We were the only people out, our usual group was reduced to 3. The snow was really rather deep in places meaning a bit of thigh burn by the time I got home.

I was the one who stacked it in the clip….  Off camber hills in snow are hard to navigate.

Heading over to Danbury through the country lanes.

Got to Papermill Lock to find it was closed, no coffee this morning.

Did come across a rather plump Robin though.

Taunting me with there offers of tea…

Glad I put the flats on, did a bit of pushign on the hills.  My feet were sodden at the end of the day.

What a difference a day makes.  This pic was taken the day before.  It was very cold but dry.

Went out with friends who ride a tandem so got some pics and vid of them.  Will soon be putting it into a little film on Vimeo.
