Peak Week – Some Photo’s from the trip…
Had a wonderful week of riding up in the Peaks a couple of weeks ago. Based in a lovely cottage in Foolow whcih is about a 30 minute cycle from Hope in Derbyshire.
There was 9 of us over the first weekend with 5 of us left after Monday to enjoy the rest of the week.
See below photos charting some of the riding we did. Could have stayed another week with the large variety of trails in that area!
Top of Man Tor, stopped for a breather and to get our bearings.
Phil climbing away from Man Tor whilst doing the Kinder Circuit Loop.
Stu stops at Stanage Edge to admire the view.
Phil on Stanage Edge, lovely day for a ride.
“Next we head up there!”
Stu descending Stanage Edge, technical top section leads to nice flags.
Houndskirk Moor, nice dry traill leading over to Stanage.
Phil tackles the Stoodley Pike descent, tougher than it seems.
The gang met up with GreatRock on Monday and got a guided tour of Hebden Bridge. He took a great picture of us on the top!

Long story but Phill wore Pyjama bottoms last trip and insisted they were ‘Lounge Pants’. We all get Lounge Pants for this trip. He was so impressed.

Stop at Derwent Dam for a pic, and to get our bearings. That was a long day of riding.
